The Ultimate Clean Beauty & Wellness Retreat during Oscar Weekend – Here’s What You Missed!
3 Days of Glam, Wellness & Sustainability: The Clean Living Experience Recap

As I sit down to reflect on the incredible weekend that was The Clean Living Magazine Experience, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. What started as a vision to create a space for women to come together, celebrate clean beauty, sustainable fashion, and holistic wellness, turned into something truly magical.
Held March 1-2, 2025, at a stunning sixty-million dollar estate in Bel Air that I booked six months prior, this two-day retreat brought together some of the most inspiring women in entertainment, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Seeing so many powerful, passionate, and purpose-driven women connecting, sharing stories, and uplifting each other reaffirmed why I created this event in the first place. It wasn’t just about showcasing brands; it was about fostering authentic relationships and creating opportunities for women-owned businesses to shine.

The Experience That Dominated Hollywood’s Biggest Weekend
This year’s event exceeded all expectations, and I am still in awe of the incredible feedback we received. Daily Mail called it “the ultimate beauty retreat,” while Lucire Rouge said it was “a stand-out” among all the Oscar weekend activities. Millennium Magazine confirmed what we all felt: “Without a doubt, the standout of the weekend.”Gothamology highlighted how we intentionally created a space for relaxation, connection, and discovery, and Ashley Graham shared how honored she was to witness this masterfully curated event.

This week alone I had over 100,000 views on my Instagram because of all of the creators and clean living fans came out to document and share their experiences. Fans of the Clean Living Show including Brandi Ledford, Amanda Lopez, Activist Lives without Knives, video creator @Letsrowwiththat and Sarah Pilla, Reporter at Spectrum 1 News shared insightful reels highlighting founder stories.
Creator Erika Greco traveled from Miami while Christina Peng shared a fun tour around the venue. Musicians and artists came out to perform including Audrey.
Thanks to Michelle Hindle at Hawke Media and Strategic Business Advisor Davina Kaonohi, the event is also a hot topic on LinkedIn, too!

Even the founders couldn’t help but document their trips, connections, morning yoga, show off their cute interactive activations and Beverly Hills highlights. Some brands shared creators having fun in their designs or modelling jewelry and sustainable fashion while others spotlighted their feature in Clean Living Magazine. I couldn't help but go live with The Wellness Affair on day 2 to show off some amazing swag.
Press attendees ranged from photographers like Amanda Lynn and Jessica Franz shared an album of photos documenting the weekend as Sabrina Marie and Viktoriia Starodubtseva.
The San Diego content creator came out to play alongside Romy Raves and Emily Stencel, too.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do. When I started Clean Living Magazine with Doris Sherman at Inspired Publications, I wanted to give a platform to women-led brands and innovative founders in clean beauty and sustainability. Seeing this event recognized across this Glo Eco Show interview, This Conscious Publicist Podcast episode reinforced our mission of elevating conscious living in the beauty and wellness space.
To officially kick off the weekend, we gathered on Friday night for An Evening Under the Stars at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where Kat at the Glo Eco Show hosted 15 founders, including Amy Maddocks, who traveled from Seattle and author Mimi Daraa that flew in from Ecuador. The night lived up to the name—right as we walked in the front door we ran into Actor and producer Neil Patrick Harris before being seated across from singer-songwriter Ciara’s husband, Football quarterback Russell Wilson.

The prix fix menu was nothing short of gourmet and had us all crawling into bed with full bellies by 9pm because hair and makeup was slotted for our whole team bright and early.
Saturday Morning
There’s nothing quite like the experience of getting “glam” with your girls, and if you’ve never had your makeup or hair professionally done—you’re missing out. Our whole team was up by 5 a.m. setting up last-minute details while the celebrity makeup artistry team meticulously tamed every stray hair and dark under-eye circles with expert shading using Sweet Leilani Cosmetics after applying a slew of clean skincare from around the room. The team at Aly Rose Beauty treated us like true royalty with touch-ups and full hair and makeup—with time to spare.

I don’t go anywhere without my entourage. This time, all 12 of us schlepped ourselves to L.A. and stayed at the most iconic home in Bel Air—so of course, we had to book the best photo and video team around. Thanks to Natalie at Nat Visualz, we had luxury shots whenever we needed them like these gems!

Erewhon's Coconut Cloud Smoothie (pictured above) was a standout treat throughout the weekend. This masterpiece blends organic pineapple and banana with a creamy mix of almond milk, avocado, and Cha’s Organic coconut cream.
An Unforgettable Celebration of Clean Beauty, Fashion & Wellness
The Gifting Suite & Media Day on March 1 started at 10am, giving press and influencers the chance to experience the best of clean beauty, sustainable fashion, and holistic wellness firsthand. Notable attendees included A-list celebrity makeup artist Katey Denno, represented by The Wall Group, Thelma Makeup Department Head Desiree Falcon, and Jennifer Stojkovic, a food-tech leader, investor, Founder of Vegan Women Summit (VWS), and author of The Future of Food is Female.

The Clean Café
Speaking of food, the kitchen which we dubbed The Clean Café featured Eme’s Baked Goods’ head chef overseeing an array of organic and sustainable beverages and bites, including Cha’s Organics,

Element Apothic CBD Mushroom Coffee (above), and Tang & Java’s famous Latte Bar. Functional drinks from Melting Forest Mushroom Beverages, Juneshine Kombucha, My Tea Snob, and High Ground Sparkling Beverages were available alongside wholesome snacks like Citrine Delight Granola samples, Active Beauty Collagen, and Universal U Wellness Supplement Samples. Hydration options included Zico Coconut Water and Easy Rider Beer.

Attendees explored art pieces from Ali Hall, a California-based contemporary artist, while listening to live music from local DJ Jeli at Red Light Vinyl.

The Clean Living Magazine special edition was created so guests at the event could read about the brands more in depth while discovering stories like Doc & Glo, founded by U.S. Athlete Sloane Stephens—a champion with eight WTA Tour-level singles titles, including the 2017 US Open. Other featured brands that were awarded grants through the collective included Gentle Style Hair Brush, Ioka Skin Science, Lash Binder Tool, Symart Cosmetics, NvisionZ, Vaihea Skincare, and Luxiours Peace.

May Money offered Tarot to guests throughout the weekend.
The Clean Beauty Lounge
One of the most rewarding parts of the weekend was seeing the incredible founders behind these women-owned brands sharing their journeys, innovations, and passion for sustainability. Our Clean Beauty Lounge & Glam Bar was a sanctuary of self-care, where guests enjoyed private facials by Ayuna Beauty
and Ilcsi, professional makeup and hair by Aly Rose Beauty using pro-haircare line Hoeli.
It was especially exciting to introduce PoolBar from London for their exclusive U.S. launch, and to have Mimi Daraa of Maison Palo Santo lead powerful sound healing sessions. Espieve’s SPF bar, Lunaescent’s skincare tool, Topical Skin, Simply Sues Naturally, and Skin Fit Studio made it a true beauty haven.

Guests shopped organic self-care essentials from Beloved Box Skincare & Home Fragrances, Crafted by Carroll, Eves & Co, and Solterra Tribe Lip Balm, and explored CBD-infused recovery with Mad Ritual CBD. Additional highlights included Good Kitty Co. for UTI support, Glotanicals Sustainable Skincare, and Hair Affair Growth Oil along with a full guest list of over 100 visionary women founders who came to shop and support.

The Clean Fashion Boutique
Fashion lovers explored and shopped sustainable designs from Formula S7 Studio’s Clean Living Capsule Collection which won a $10,000 grant through the Clean Living Founder Collective to attend. Isla and Saige,
Natalia Trevino Amaro, Salted Active Athleisure,
Secret Mission Boutique dresses (above), and Voes & Co Vegan Leather Footwear were standout brands in the Clean Boutique.
Meanwhile, accessories from Astor & Orion,
Nvisionz and Kavacha jewelry, Cocoa & Onyx, Omosilk Hair Scrunchies and TwirlyT added the perfect finishing touches.

Exclusive Event + Nonprofit Partners
March 2 was all about self-care and empowerment at our Sip & Shop experience which included supporting community impact.

Event partners included Caring For Mama Wellness Boxes, Enriched Escapes Luxury Travel Company, The Glo Eco Show, Julep Publicity, and The Conscious Publicist.
Creating Moments & Memories
Beyond the activations and brand showcases, my favorite part of the weekend was seeing real connections happen. Whether it was founders exchanging ideas, attendees discovering their new favorite beauty essentials, or media professionals amplifying women-led brands, the energy in the space was electric. I will never forget standing back and watching these moments unfold—it was the ripple effect of empowerment and inspiration that I always dreamed of creating.
